Roseburg police reported dozens of incidents from March 6-9, including DUII arrests, warrants, thefts, trespass cases, prohibited camping citations, crashes and disorderly conduct, according to the City of Roseburg Police Logs service.

BLM timber sales in Oregon brought in more than $8.3 million from 27.6 million board feet sold across 1,255 acres. The Roseburg District’s Muley Mount tract accounted for 5 million board feet and sold to Scott Timber Company of Roseburg.

A 33-year-old Drain man died Friday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash near Yoncalla. Deputies said Nicholas Rex Snyder was found ejected from a white 2009 Kia Rio in a field off Elkhead Road after the crash was discovered by a FedEx driver.
