Warm, dry weather will continue in Roseburg this week, with temperatures potentially nearing triple digits by Friday. A few isolated thunderstorms could develop Tuesday in eastern Douglas County, bringing lightning and strong wind gusts.

Roseburg will see a cooler, cloudy start to the week before sunshine and warmer temperatures return for the Independence Day weekend, with highs climbing into the mid-80s by Saturday.

Roseburg is expected to stay mild and mostly dry through midweek, with afternoon breezes and highs in the low to mid-70s before a warmer pattern arrives Friday into Saturday.

Rain is expected to return to Roseburg tonight, bringing cooler temperatures, higher humidity and several chances for showers through Saturday before conditions begin to ease Sunday.

Roseburg will start the week warm, with highs near 93 Monday, 90 Tuesday and 88 Wednesday. A cooler pattern arrives later in the week, with rain likely Thursday night and a chance of rain Friday as highs drop near 70.
