Roseburg Ties Year’s High At 99, Still Awaits First 100-Degree Day
Roseburg reached 99 degrees Wednesday, tying the city’s hottest temperature of 2026. The same high was recorded June 15, meaning Roseburg has now fallen one degree short of its first triple-digit day twice this year.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - Roseburg climbed to 99 degrees Wednesday, tying the hottest temperature recorded in the city so far this year.
The National Weather Service said the temperature at Roseburg Regional Airport reached 99 degrees Wednesday afternoon. That matched the previous 2026 high of 99 degrees, recorded on June 15.
Despite several stretches of hot weather this summer, Roseburg has still not officially reached 100 degrees this year. The city has now come within one degree of the triple-digit mark twice.
Another hot day is expected Thursday, with temperatures again forecast to approach the upper 90s. A Heat Advisory remains in effect for the Umpqua Valley through 11 p.m. Friday.
Temperatures are expected to gradually cool beginning this weekend, although afternoon highs will remain above normal.
