Thunderstorms could develop Wednesday and Thursday across parts of southern Oregon and northern California, bringing gusty winds, lightning and brief heavy rain during the afternoon and evening hours.

Cooler, unsettled weather is expected in the Roseburg area Tuesday, with showers and a chance of thunderstorms mainly later in the day. More shower chances continue Wednesday before warmer, drier weather returns later in the week.

Roseburg and the Umpqua Valley will stay warm and mostly dry through Sunday, with highs in the low to mid 80s. A cold front is expected Monday, bringing cooler temperatures and a chance of rain from Memorial Day afternoon into midweek.

Roseburg is headed for a mostly sunny, dry week, with highs climbing from the low 70s into the upper 70s and low 80s by Thursday and Friday. A slight cooldown and small chance of showers could arrive closer to Memorial Day.

Roseburg will see mild weather Friday before light rain chances return late tonight into Saturday morning. Saturday will be cooler, with highs near 59, before dry and warmer weather builds next week. Highs are expected to climb into the 70s by Monday through Thursday.

Roseburg is expected to see mild, mostly dry weather through Thursday, with only a slight chance of showers Wednesday morning. Highs are forecast near 68 Wednesday and 73 Thursday before cooler air moves in Friday.
