Roseburg Starts the Week in the 90s Before Cooler Weather and Rain Chances Arrive

ROSEBURG, Ore. - Roseburg will start the week warm and dry, with afternoon highs expected to remain above normal before a cooler, cloudier pattern arrives later in the week.
According to the latest forecast, Roseburg is expected to reach about 93 degrees Monday under sunny skies. Overnight temperatures will fall into the mid 50s.
Tuesday will stay warm, though slightly cooler, with a high near 90 degrees. Wednesday is expected to bring another sunny day with a high near 88.
The warm stretch comes as high pressure moves across southern Oregon and northern California. The National Weather Service in Medford says many west side valleys will see temperatures in the mid to upper 90s early this week. The Umpqua Valley is expected to stay a bit cooler, generally in the low to mid 90s.
A Heat Advisory remains in effect Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening for several west side valleys and exposed areas in southern Oregon and northern California, but the Umpqua Valley is not included.
By Thursday, Roseburg should begin to feel a more noticeable change, with a forecast high near 82 degrees. Rain becomes likely Thursday night, mainly after 11 p.m., as a cold front approaches the region.
Friday is expected to be much cooler, with mostly cloudy skies, a chance of rain and a high near 70 degrees. Rain chances may continue Friday night, with lows around 52.
The National Weather Service says the cooler pattern is expected to continue into the weekend, with daytime highs falling below seasonal averages Friday through Sunday.
For Roseburg, the week begins with summer heat but may end feeling more like spring, with cooler temperatures, clouds and at least some chance of light rain.
