Umpqua Woofstock Expands Mission With New Spring Fair in Sutherlin
Umpqua Woofstock will host its first Spring Fair April 24-26 at Oak Hills Golf Club in Sutherlin. The new event reflects the nonprofit’s continued growth from a local pet festival into a year round effort supporting pets and families across the Umpqua Valley.
Original Winston Summer Nite Cruise Route Restored For 2026 Event
The original cruise route is back for the 2026 Winston Summer Nite Cruise. The restored layout returns cruisers to Abraham and Douglas Boulevard past longtime Winston landmarks. The event is July 11, with registration at Grocery Outlet.
Police Log: March 5, 2026
Roseburg police reported 11 incidents in the Mar. 5 log, including menacing, strangulation, theft, warrants, prohibited camping, driving while suspended, and a disturbance at the Roseburg Airport involving brass knuckles, according to the City of Roseburg.
Roseburg Arbor Day Photo Contest Opens March 12
Roseburg Parks and Recreation will open its 2026 Arbor Day Photo Contest on March 12, inviting people to submit one photo of a tree or grove of trees taken in the Roseburg area. Entries are due by 5 p.m. April 17, with winners to be announced on Arbor Day, April 24.
Douglas Forest Protective Association Opens Hiring For 2026 Fire Season
DFPA is hiring for the 2026 fire season, with seasonal openings for wildland firefighters, dispatchers and wildfire detection camera operators. Applications are open now, with reviews starting in April, interviews in May and onboarding in June.
