Thrive Umpqua Plans Free Halloween 5K at Ford’s Pond

Thrive Umpqua Plans Free Halloween 5K at Ford’s Pond

SUTHERLIN, Ore. - Halloween morning will bring runners, walkers, and costumed families to Ford’s Pond for the third annual Thrive Umpqua Community 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 31.

The free event begins at 10 a.m., with walk-in registration available from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Organizers encourage participants to wear costumes and bring the family for a morning of outdoor activity and community connection.

The first 250 people to register will receive a free T-shirt, according to the event poster. Participants can register online here.

The event offers both running and walking options, giving participants a choice of how to complete the 5K, a distance of approximately 3.1 miles.
