Historic Ghost Tours Return to Downtown Roseburg This October
Roseburg’s Historic Ghost Tours return Oct. 16-30, bringing stories from the city’s past to downtown streets. Evening and afternoon tours are available, with general admission priced at $30.
Downtown Roseburg’s past will come to life this October as the Roseburg Historic Ghost Tours return for the Halloween season.
Presented by Umpqua Community College’s Performing and Visual Arts department in association with Timbertown Media, “The Ghosts of Roseburg Past: Historic Walking Tours” invites visitors to explore local history on foot.
The tours follow Jackson and Main streets, introducing participants to characters and true stories from more than a century of Roseburg history, including its frontier years and the 1920s. UCC describes the event as an immersive experience, with downtown serving as the setting for stories about the people who once lived and worked there.
According to the event flyer, tours are scheduled for:
- 7 p.m. Fridays: Oct. 16, 23, and 30.
- 7 p.m. Saturdays: Oct. 17 and 24.
- 7 p.m. Thursday: Oct. 29.
- 3:30 p.m. Saturdays: Oct. 17 and 24.
General admission is $30. Tickets can be purchased through the organizers’ page or by scanning the QR code on the flyer. A ticket link is also available on UCC’s event page.
Participants must be able to walk approximately 1.5 miles, and UCC advises that the tours are not recommended for small children.
