ROSEBURG, Ore. — A Roseburg man was arrested Wednesday after police said a woman was robbed at gunpoint outside Sherm’s earlier this week.
According to the Roseburg Police Department logs, Black was arrested at 9:22 a.m. Wednesday, May 6. Police radio traffic reviewed by The Roseburg Receiver indicated the reported robbery happened the evening of Monday, May 4, at Sherm’s Thunderbird Market, 2553 NW Stewart Parkway.
Police said a 25-year-old Roseburg woman had just finished work and was sitting in her vehicle while it warmed up when a man approached the driver’s side window with a handgun. The man demanded the vehicle, and after the woman got out, police said he also demanded her phone before driving away.
