Families, caregivers, educators and community members are invited to a free informational dinner session focused on the Nurtured Heart Approach®, a relationship-based method designed to help support youth confidence, resilience and positive behavior.

The session will be held Thursday, May 21, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Roseburg Public Library’s South Umpqua Room.

The event is cohosted by the Oregon Health Authority, Douglas Education Service District and Thrive Umpqua, a Certified Blue Zones Community. Organizers said attendees will learn practical tools for supporting young people, strengthening relationships and creating more positive interactions at home, in school and throughout the community.

Dinner will be provided, and the event is open to families, caregivers, educators and anyone interested in learning more about the approach.
