Roseburg Parks’ “I Spy Fall” Invites Kids to Hunt for Photo Clues
Roseburg’s free “I Spy Fall” challenge invites kids 12 and under to solve a new park photo clue each week from Oct. 1–21. Visit the location, take a selfie, and submit it for a chance to win a fall prize basket that includes admission to Wildlife Safari’s Zoobilee.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - A close-up photo of something in a Roseburg park will be the starting point for a three-week fall activity for local kids.
Roseburg Parks and Recreation’s free “I Spy Fall” challenge begins Thursday, Oct. 1. Each week, the city will post a new photo clue. Children 12 and under can use it to figure out the park location, go there to take a selfie, and submit their photo for a chance to win a basket of fall favorites. The prize includes admission to Wildlife Safari’s Zoobilee.
The activity runs for three weeks:
- Week 1: Oct. 1–7
- Week 2: Oct. 8–14
- Week 3: Oct. 15–21
Clues and submission links will appear each Thursday morning on the Roseburg Parks and Recreation Facebook page and the city’s Parks and Recreation webpage. Families have until dusk the following Wednesday to submit their photo.
The city will draw one winner each Thursday morning, contact the winner, and arrange for the prize to be picked up at City Hall. Each child may enter once per week and can take part in all three rounds. More than one child may appear in a photo, but only one prize will be awarded for that submission.
