ODFW To Host June 11 Update On Local Fisheries In Roseburg
ODFW’s Umpqua Fish District will host a June 11 fisheries update in Roseburg covering salmon and steelhead seasons, Rock Creek Hatchery, Fall Chinook forecasts, Oregon Coast Coho and public questions.
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Umpqua Fish District will host an informational update on local fisheries on Thursday, June 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Roseburg.
The meeting will be held at the ODFW conference room, located at 4192 N. Umpqua Highway. A virtual option will also be available for those who cannot attend in person.
ODFW says the meeting will focus on several fisheries topics important to the Umpqua Basin and local anglers, including:
- A recap of the 2025 salmon and steelhead fishing seasons
- An update on Rock Creek Hatchery
- The Coastal Multispecies Conservation and Management Plan
- Fall Chinook forecasts, tentative seasons and possible adjustments
- Oregon Coast Coho status in the Umpqua Basin
- Hatchery coho releases
- Time for public questions and comments

ODFW asks that submissions include the person’s name and contact information, along with whether they would like their question answered during the meeting or would like to read it themselves. Those who choose to read their question during the meeting will have three minutes.
