Free Young Eagles Flights Set for Sept. 5 at Roseburg Regional Airport
Kids ages 8 to 17 can take a free airplane ride during EAA Chapter 495’s Young Eagles Rally on Sept. 5 at Roseburg Regional Airport. Flights run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., weather permitting, with limited availability.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - Kids and teens will have another opportunity to experience flight this September as Roseburg EAA Chapter 495 hosts a Young Eagles Rally at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., weather permitting. A rain date is set for Saturday, Sept. 12.
Through the Young Eagles program, children ages 8 to 17 can take a free airplane ride with participating pilots. Parent or legal guardian approval and a signature are required.
Flights are limited, and families are encouraged to register ahead of time to reserve a spot. Registration is available through the QR code on the event flyer below or online through EAAchapters.org.
The rally will be held at Roseburg Regional Airport, 3896 NW Stewart Parkway in Roseburg.
