Cool Start Gives Way to Warmer Weather in Roseburg This Week
Roseburg will warm from a high near 67 Monday to 74 Wednesday, with sunshine following chilly mornings and possible fog. Temperatures could reach 83 Thursday, while light rain may return early next week.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - Roseburg will see a gradual warmup over the next several days, with sunny afternoons following a chilly start to the week.
The National Weather Service forecasts areas of frost before 9 a.m. Monday, October 12, followed by sunshine and a high near 67 degrees. North winds will pick up to around 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
Monday night will be mostly clear, with temperatures falling to around 39 degrees. Winds are expected to become calm during the evening.
Patchy fog could develop before 9 a.m. Tuesday, then give way to sunny skies and a high near 70. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 41.
Wednesday brings another chance of morning fog before sunshine returns. The afternoon high is expected to reach about 74 degrees, followed by a clear night and a low near 44.
The warming trend will become more noticeable Thursday, when Roseburg’s high is forecast to reach approximately 83 degrees under sunny skies.
Forecasters said strengthening high pressure will drive the warmer weather across the region. While frost and freezing temperatures are expected in some inland valleys early this week, Roseburg’s forecast overnight lows remain above freezing.
Dry weather is expected to continue through the next several days. Looking farther ahead, the National Weather Service said a shift toward wetter conditions could bring light rain to southern Oregon around October 19 and 20. The timing and amounts remain uncertain.
