West Old Melrose Road Closure Scheduled For November 5

The 900 block of West Old Melrose Road will close from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, November 5, for sewer bypass removal. Detours will be marked, and drivers should allow extra travel time.

ROSEBURG, Ore. - The 900 block of West Old Melrose Road will close from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, November 5, while crews remove an underground sewer bypass.

The bypass was previously installed as part of work serving the RUSA wastewater treatment plant.

Detour routes will be marked with signs during the closure. Drivers should plan to use alternate routes, allow extra travel time and use caution around crews and equipment.

Weather or other unforeseen conditions could affect the work schedule. The City of Roseburg will provide updates if the closure schedule changes.
