Warmer Weather Builds Into Roseburg Before Weekend Shower Chances

Roseburg is expected to see a warmer stretch of weather Thursday, with patchy fog early before skies gradually clear and temperatures climb near 77 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

The forecast calls for calm wind becoming north around 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Clouds are expected to increase Thursday night, with a low around 48.

Friday is forecast to be mostly cloudy with a high near 72. A slight chance of showers returns Friday night, with a 20 percent chance of rain and a low around 50.

The weekend will stay mild, with highs near 72 on Saturday and near 80 on Sunday. Shower chances remain low Saturday, but the chance for showers and thunderstorms increases Sunday after 11 a.m.

The National Weather Service Medford forecast discussion said the region is expected to stay warm with increasing humidity Friday through Sunday, with shower and thunderstorm chances increasing late Friday and continuing through the weekend into early next week. The best focus for showers appears to be Sunday and Monday.

Monday is expected to be cooler, with mostly cloudy skies, a chance of showers, and a high near 66. Conditions are forecast to improve again Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs returning to the 70s.
