Umpqua Valley Tennis Center Launches New Tennis Classes
Umpqua Valley Tennis Center is launching new tennis classes starting May 28, with Cardio Tennis and Bump Tennis offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Classes are open to members and non-members.
The Umpqua Valley Tennis Center is adding new opportunities for players to get moving, improve their skills, and have fun on the court.
Starting May 28, the center will offer tennis classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with options for both beginners and more experienced players. The lineup includes Cardio Tennis and Bump Tennis, giving participants a mix of fitness, drills, competition, and social play.
Cardio Tennis will be offered for intermediate and advanced players on Tuesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A beginner Cardio Tennis class will also be available Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The class is designed as a high-energy group workout built around fast-paced tennis drills. Organizers describe it as a way to raise your heart rate, sharpen footwork, and enjoy movement without the pressure of keeping score.
Bump Tennis will be offered for intermediate and advanced players on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The format is designed to be casual but competitive, with players moving up the court by winning points and “bumping” their way toward the top spot.
Pricing is listed at $10 for members and $15 for non-members for Cardio Tennis. Bump Tennis is listed at $7 for members and $11 for non-members.
Registration is available through Umpqua Valley Tennis Center. More information can be found at umpquavalleytennis.com.
