Thrive Umpqua To Kick Off Downtown Cleanup Series April 29
Thrive Umpqua will kick off its Downtown Cleanup series April 29 in Roseburg. Volunteers can pick up supplies from 5 to 6 p.m. at 556 SE Jackson St. before helping clean up downtown streets.
ROSEBURG, Ore. — Thrive Umpqua will launch its Downtown Cleanup series Wednesday, April 29, with a volunteer cleanup event in downtown Roseburg.
The cleanup series will be held on the last Wednesday of each month from April through October. Volunteers can stop by Thrive Umpqua’s office at 556 SE Jackson St. anytime between 5 and 6 p.m. to pick up supplies before helping clean up litter and spruce up Jackson, Main, and Rose streets.
The event is open to the public, and no registration is required. Volunteers are encouraged to show up and lend a hand, rain or shine.
Thrive Umpqua said the effort is meant to help keep downtown looking its best while giving community members a chance to make a positive impact.
