A late-night chase through Gaddis Park ended with the arrest of 49-year-old Joshua Frazier after police say he fled on a dirt bike and later crashed near the I-5 walking bridge. Officers found meth in his possession and confirmed he had an outstanding warrant.

Two Eugene residents were arrested after police seized 73 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on I-5 near Cottage Grove. Investigators say the pair had been transporting drugs from California to Eugene. Additional evidence was found during searches of their homes.

Police responded to Sutherlin High School on Nov. 12 after reports that a student brought a knife to campus. Staff had already detained the student and secured the weapon. The student was arrested and faces charges including attempted assault, menacing, stalking, and unlawful weapon use.

DINT detectives arrested 38-year-old Chet Evans of Myrtle Creek in Roseburg after finding suspected fentanyl, meth residue, and weapons. Evans faces drug and weapons charges and remains in custody on a Lane County probation detainer.

Douglas County deputies arrested 43-year-old Jason Nathaniel Briggs on Oct. 31 for first-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony. Investigators say the victim, a minor known to Briggs, reported years of abuse. He remains in the Douglas County Jail.
