ROSEBURG, Ore. — Southern Oregon Goodwill says its Roseburg store is moving later this year, with the organization emphasizing that the location is not closing but relocating to a larger space. Goodwill said the new location will be “bigger” and “closer than you might think.”

Southern Oregon Goodwill’s current Roseburg store is located at 2455 NW Stewart Parkway. The planned new site is the former Rite Aid building at 1430 NW Garden Valley Blvd.
Southern Oregon Goodwill has publicly confirmed the move, and the Garden Valley Boulevard address is the former Roseburg Rite Aid location. The current Roseburg store opened in 2016 in the former Office Depot building on Stewart Parkway. At the time, the organization said the site included more than 10,000 square feet of retail space along with an employment and training center.
Goodwill has not yet publicly announced an opening date for the new Roseburg location. The organization said more details will be released as the move moves forward. The transition also comes ahead of a milestone year for Southern Oregon Goodwill, which was founded in 1967 and is set to celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2027.
No opening date for the new Roseburg location had been publicly posted in the sources reviewed Tuesday.
