Showers are likely across areas west of the Cascades from Thursday evening through Friday. The coast and northern Douglas County are expected to receive the most rain, while amounts should decrease farther inland. An isolated thunderstorm is possible, with the better chance on Friday, though forecasters say the chance of thunder remains low.
East of the Cascades, the system is expected to bring little rain. Breezy winds and low humidity Thursday could instead create elevated fire weather conditions in those areas.
