Roseburg Weekend Forecast Calls for Sunshine and Warmer Temperatures
Roseburg is in for a mostly sunny and warmer weekend, with highs climbing from about 84 Friday to 88 Sunday. Thunderstorm chances will remain mainly east and south of the Umpqua Valley.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - A warm and mostly sunny weekend is ahead for Roseburg, with afternoon temperatures gradually climbing into the upper 80s by Sunday.
The National Weather Service expects partly sunny skies Friday with a high near 84 degrees. Winds will remain light for much of the day before becoming north-northwest around 6 mph during the afternoon.
Friday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 54.
Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny and slightly warmer, reaching about 86 degrees. Calm winds during the morning will again become north-northwest around 6 mph in the afternoon. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low near 54.
Temperatures climb another couple of degrees Sunday, when Roseburg is forecast to reach about 88 under mostly sunny skies. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 56.
Across the broader region, forecasters in Medford say southwest flow will keep seasonable warmth and generally dry conditions in place through much of the coming week.
There will still be a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms Friday and Saturday, primarily across western Siskiyou County, along the Cascades and in northern portions of Klamath and Lake counties. Any storms that develop could produce brief rain, gusty and erratic winds and lightning.
Thunderstorm chances decrease Sunday and Monday before drier conditions are expected to take over for most of next week.
For Roseburg and much of the Umpqua Valley, the weekend should remain relatively quiet, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures warming a few degrees each day.
