Roseburg Sees Hottest Day Of 2026 So Far
Roseburg recorded its hottest day of 2026 so far on Monday, reaching 87 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. A warm Tuesday is expected before cooler, more seasonal temperatures arrive Wednesday.
ROSEBURG, Ore. — Monday brought the warmest temperature Roseburg has seen so far this year, with the Roseburg Regional Airport recording a high of 87 degrees on June 1.
The mark makes Monday the hottest day of 2026 to date for the Umpqua Valley. Before that, the year’s highest temperature had been 85 degrees, reached on May 3, May 21 and May 24.
The warmup comes as high pressure sits over the region, bringing above-normal temperatures to parts of southern Oregon. Tuesday is expected to stay warm, with afternoon highs once again near the upper 80s.
The stretch of warmer weather is not expected to last long. A front moving into the area Wednesday should bring temperatures back closer to normal for early June, with highs generally falling into the mid-70s for much of the rest of the week.
No significant rain is expected with the midweek change, though the cooler temperatures will offer a break from the early-week heat.
