Roseburg Man Arrested After Police Say TikTok Videos Showed Reckless Motorcycle Riding
A Roseburg man was arrested after police said TikTok videos showed him riding a green Kawasaki Ninja recklessly on public roads, including at speeds of up to 152 mph.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - A Roseburg man was lodged at Douglas County Corrections after police said videos posted online showed reckless motorcycle riding on public roads.
According to Roseburg Police, officers received an anonymous report that 24-year-old Jarod Michael Whitlock had been posting videos on TikTok of himself riding a green Kawasaki Ninja recklessly.
Police said officers were able to identify Whitlock as the rider in six videos. The videos reportedly showed him doing stunts and riding at speeds of up to 152 mph on public roads.
Whitlock was taken into custody without incident on Monday, June 22, at about 8 a.m. in Douglas County.
He was lodged at Corrections on six counts of reckless driving and three counts of speeding over 100 mph.
Charges are accusations, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
