Roseburg Invites Public to Meet Six City Manager Candidates

The City of Roseburg will host six city manager candidates Aug. 4-6 as part of its interview process. A public reception is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Roseburg Public Safety Center.

The City of Roseburg is inviting community members to meet the six candidates being considered for the city manager position during a public reception Tuesday, Aug. 4.

The candidates will be in Roseburg from Aug. 4 through Aug. 6 as part of the city’s recruitment and interview process. During the visit, they will take part in formal interviews and tour the community.

The public reception will give residents an opportunity to learn more about each candidate’s professional background, leadership style and interest in working for the City of Roseburg.

Time: 5 to 7 p.m.
Location: Roseburg Public Safety Center, 700 SE Douglas Ave.

Each candidate will give a 10-minute presentation and will be available to speak with members of the community during the event.

The city has not yet released the names or biographies of the six candidates.

Updates about the recruitment process will be posted on the City of Roseburg website and its official social media pages.
