Douglas County Solid Waste will host a free electronics recycling event April 25 at the Roseburg Transfer Station. Residents and small businesses can drop off old electronics from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizers say the event will help keep harmful e-waste out of landfills.

Thrive Umpqua will celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Month on April 11 with a community cleanup and volunteer celebration at Stewart Park in Roseburg. The event includes pizza, beverages, raffle prizes, lawn games, and ways to get involved. RSVP required.
