Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park Opens 39th Season Tonight
Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park begins its 39th season tonight at Millsite Park. That Other Band will perform from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., opening a summer of free Thursday evening concerts.
MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. - Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park returns tonight, launching its 39th season of free summer concerts at Millsite Park.
That Other Band, also known as TOB, will open the series with a mix of rhythm and blues, funk, soul and other styles.
Tonight’s concert runs from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the park on Main Street. Concerts will continue each Thursday through August 27, with no performance scheduled for July 23.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food will be available from vendors at the park and nearby businesses.
Dogs are welcome as long as they remain under control, and owners are asked to clean up after them.
The concert series is presented by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce.
