For rent signs have appeared at Tuck’s Studio Pottery Painting in downtown Roseburg as the family-owned business prepares to close in early December.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - For rent signs have appeared in the windows of Tuck’s Studio Pottery Painting in downtown Roseburg as the family-owned business prepares to close later this year.
The studio, located at 509 SE Jackson Street, announced that it plans to close during the first part of December 2026. The Ferber family described the decision as bittersweet and said they are moving on to new family adventures.
A definite closing date has not yet been announced.
Tuck’s has offered pottery painting alongside food and drinks, providing a space for birthday parties, family outings and other gatherings. The business opened in downtown Roseburg in September 2022.
Customers with unfinished pottery are being asked to return and complete their pieces as soon as possible. Any completed or unfinished pottery left behind after the studio closes will no longer be available for pickup.
Printed paper gift certificates must be redeemed by December 1, 2026. The business said its former black gift cards were discontinued in December 2025 and can no longer be claimed or redeemed.
In its farewell notice, the family thanked customers for their support and for allowing the business to become part of their lives and creative experiences.
The for rent signs now posted at the Jackson Street storefront offer another visible indication that a change is coming to the downtown space.
