Fir Grove Splash Pad to Remain Open Through Labor Day
Roseburg’s Fir Grove Park Splash Pad will remain open daily from 10 a.m. to dusk through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7. The free spray park offers families a place to cool off during the final stretch of summer.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - Families looking for another chance to cool off before summer winds down can still visit the splash pad at Fir Grove Park in Roseburg.
The Fir Grove Park Splash Pad will remain open daily from 10 a.m. until dusk through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7.
The free interactive spray park gives children and families a place to cool down during the warmer late-summer days while spending time outdoors.
Visitors may want to come prepared for the sun. Shade around the splash pad is limited, and Roseburg Parks and Recreation recommends bringing drinking water, sunscreen, hats and sunglasses.
The splash pad is located at Fir Grove Park, behind the Umpqua Valley Arts Center at 1624 W. Harvard Ave., just off Harvard Avenue.
Roseburg Parks and Recreation maintains the splash pad throughout the summer season, and there is no charge to use the facility.
