DINT Conducts Second Round Of Targeted Patrols In Roseburg

The Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team conducted another targeted enforcement operation in Roseburg on Tuesday, April 28, resulting in two arrests and additional cases still under investigation.

According to DINT, the patrols were conducted in response to concerns from community members and businesses about criminal activity in the city. Those concerns had previously been brought to the Douglas County Board of Commissioners.

DINT said the targeted patrols are separate from its primary mission of identifying and investigating high-level drug distributors in Douglas County. The agency said the added enforcement was coordinated with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Roseburg Police Department, with funding provided by the Douglas County Board of Commissioners.

During Tuesday afternoon’s operation, detectives focused on retail theft in Roseburg. DINT reported that two people were arrested on theft and drug-related charges:

  • Sean McCraw, 37, of Roseburg, was lodged at the Douglas County Jail on charges of second-degree theft, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, fentanyl.
  • Danielle Warner, 38, of Roseburg, was lodged at the Douglas County Jail on charges of second-degree theft, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, fentanyl.

DINT said investigators are also seeking two additional people in connection with theft cases from the operation, and additional arrests are expected if those individuals are contacted.

The cases are being prosecuted by the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office.

DINT said targeted enforcement efforts are expected to continue in coordination with local law enforcement partners.
