Coleen & Co. Brings Dance-Friendly Music to Millsite Park Thursday
Coleen & Co. takes the stage Thursday at Millsite Park for Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park, bringing Motown, blues-rock, boogie-rock, blue-eyed soul and rock and roll. The free concert runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. - Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park continues Thursday evening with a performance by Roseburg-based Coleen & Co.
The band will take the stage from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 16 at Millsite Park, bringing a lively mix of Motown, blues-rock, boogie-rock, blue-eyed soul and rock and roll. The concert is free and will offer plenty of music for those who want to get up and dance.
Thursday’s show follows a well-attended opening-night performance by That Other Band and marks the second concert in the series’ 39th season. Music in the Park concerts are scheduled on Thursday evenings through Aug. 27, with no performance planned for July 23.
Attendees can bring lawn chairs or blankets, and food will be available from vendors at the park and nearby businesses. Dogs are welcome but must remain under control, and owners are asked to clean up after them.
The Coleen & Co. performance is sponsored by Pacific Ink & Co. The concert series is presented by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce.
