Boys & Girls Club Honors 14 Local Youth for Leadership, Teamwork and Achievement
Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley recently honored 14 local youth, recognizing nine Members of the Year and five Players of the Year for the 2025-2026 program year.
ROSEBURG, Ore. - Fourteen young people were recently recognized by the Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley for their accomplishments during the 2025-2026 program year.
The Club celebrated nine Members of the Year and five Players of the Year during its annual Club Honors event, recognizing youth who stood out for their leadership, kindness, perseverance, teamwork and positive attitudes.
Club officials said the honorees made a lasting impact throughout the year while setting a strong example for other young people involved in Club programs and athletics.
Families, staff members, board members, volunteers and supporters attended the celebration, which included professional portraits, an awards presentation, dinner and an ice cream sundae social.
The evening was designed not only to recognize individual accomplishments, but also the growth and effort each honoree demonstrated throughout the year.
The Club also credited families, staff members, coaches, volunteers and mentors who helped encourage and support the youth along the way.
Gary and Stacey Crowe and Umpqua Dairy were thanked for helping make the celebration possible. Keri Blue Photography provided photography for the event, while Nate Wadsworth with Campfire Video provided videography.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley said it is proud of all 14 honorees and looks forward to seeing what they accomplish in the years ahead.
