Thrive Umpqua Plans Kickoff Social For Young Adults In Roseburg
Thrive Umpqua will host The “In-Between” Social on May 1 at North Forty in Roseburg, giving adults in their 20s and 30s a chance to meet others, share ideas, and help shape future local gatherings.
ROSEBURG, Ore. — Thrive Umpqua is launching a new social event series aimed at helping adults in their 20s and 30s connect with others in Roseburg and surrounding communities.
The kickoff event, called The “In-Between” Social, is scheduled for Friday, May 1, from 6 to 7 p.m. at North Forty, located upstairs at 435 SE Jackson St. in Roseburg. The event will include free appetizers.
The idea grew out of feedback gathered during Thrive Umpqua’s Longest Table community dinner last year, where participants shared that young adults wanted more opportunities to meet people, build connections, and take part in local events.
The new series has received a micro-grant and is intended to be shaped with input from the people it hopes to serve. Attendees at the kickoff will be invited to meet others, share ideas, and help guide what future gatherings could look like.
