The Roseburg Receiver Morning Scoop Headed to KQUA in April

The Roseburg Receiver is taking a major step forward this spring with its expansion to local radio.

Beginning sometime in April, The Roseburg Receiver Morning Scoop will air every weekday morning on 90.5 KQUA, with a rebroadcast on 99.7 KQUA-LP Community Radio. Listeners will be able to tune in in their cars or online at kqua.org. The Roseburg Receiver will continue to deliver the morning scoop via email, on the website, and its Facebook group.

The move marks more than just a new platform. It is the beginning of a broader partnership aimed at expanding local access to community information across Douglas County.

Through the collaboration, The Roseburg Receiver hopes to bring its weekday Morning Scoop to radio listeners while also building toward future conversations and programming focused on the community, local news, public safety, public awareness, and what is happening across Douglas County.

The effort is also being developed in collaboration with The Roseburg Plug, as both outlets work together to create additional local programming and community-centered content.

What began as a growing local news and information platform online is continuing to expand - into the community and now onto the radio.
