Safe Haven’s March Blessing Bag Giveaway is set for March 13-14 at the Meyer Activity Center in Roseburg. Free clothing, diapers, formula, baby equipment, maternity clothes, blankets and more will be available. Bring your own bags. Saturday continues while supplies last.

Umpqua Woofstock will host its first Spring Fair April 24-26 at Oak Hills Golf Club in Sutherlin. The new event reflects the nonprofit’s continued growth from a local pet festival into a year round effort supporting pets and families across the Umpqua Valley.

Roseburg Parks and Recreation will open its 2026 Arbor Day Photo Contest on March 12, inviting people to submit one photo of a tree or grove of trees taken in the Roseburg area. Entries are due by 5 p.m. April 17, with winners to be announced on Arbor Day, April 24.

Earth Day and Energy Fair 2026 is set for Saturday, April 18, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on SE Main Street in downtown Roseburg. The free public event will feature exhibits, info tables, kids activities, and sessions on energy, gardening, native plants and more.

A free public screening of the documentary “HERE. IS. BETTER.” will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, at noon at the Roseburg Public Library. The event includes a panel discussion moderated by Returning Veterans Project Executive Director Amy Almond-Schmid. Admission is free.
