South County Rendezvous Brings Free Resources, Meal and Family Activities to Myrtle Creek

The South County Rendezvous returns to Myrtle Creek on Wednesday with free community resources, clothing, a meal and family activities. Around 30 local organizations will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Harvest Christian Assembly.

South County Rendezvous Brings Free Resources, Meal and Family Activities to Myrtle Creek

MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. - Community members can connect with local services, enjoy a free meal and take part in family activities during the South County Rendezvous on Wednesday, July 15.

The free event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Harvest Christian Assembly, 227 S. Main St. in Myrtle Creek.

Around 30 community partners are expected to attend, giving residents an opportunity to learn about programs and assistance available throughout southern Douglas County. Resources will include:

  • Housing and homelessness services
  • Health and wellness resources
  • Children and family services
  • Employment and training programs
  • Veterans programs

Free clothing and a community meal will also be available.

Thundering Water Upstream Healthcare will bring its WOW Truck to the event, featuring inflatable fitness activities for children, including a climbing wall and obstacle courses.

The South County Rendezvous is organized with support from the Oregon Department of Human Services and is designed to bring agencies, nonprofit organizations and residents together in one accessible location.
