Sleepless Truckers Bring Outlaw Country to Music Off Central Tonight
Sleepless Truckers bring outlaw country, Americana and Southern rock to Music Off Central tonight at Sutherlin Central Park. The free show starts at 7 p.m., with food trucks serving beginning at 5:30 p.m.
SUTHERLIN, Ore. - Music Off Central continues tonight with Sleepless Truckers, bringing a mix of outlaw country, Americana and Southern rock to Central Park in Sutherlin.
The free concert begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at Sutherlin Central Park, located along East Dean Avenue. Food trucks are scheduled to begin serving at 5:30 p.m.
Sleepless Truckers delivers a rough-edged country sound influenced by red dirt music and Southern rock. The group puts its own spin on songs associated with Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Johnny Paycheck and David Allan Coe.
The evening’s scheduled food truck lineup includes:
- Wailani Shave Ice
- Wiley Wagon
- The Pizza Bus
- Huele A Taco’s
- Granny’s Mini Hut
- Smokin G’s BBQ
- Louie’s Redneck Dawgs
- That’s Kind of Cheesy
- The Corndog Company Willamette Valley
- Golden Fortune Asian Food
Scheduled vendors include Lookingglass Brewery, Backside Outpost, Urban Blendz, The Humble Lush, Woofstock Popcorn, Sweet Tooth Fairy Floss and The Lemon Wrangler.
Music Off Central is designed as a family-friendly Thursday night gathering, with live music, dinner options and access to the park’s splash pad. Organizers ask visitors to keep pets leashed, clean up after themselves and avoid smoking in the event area.
Three performances will remain after tonight’s concert:
- July 23: ForJoury, a Foreigner and Journey tribute
- July 30: Super Diamond, a Neil Diamond tribute
- Aug. 6: Roll On, an Alabama tribute
