Semi-Truck Trailer Strikes U-Trans Bus In Roseburg, Several Passengers Report Minor Injuries
Several U-Trans passengers were taken to Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries after police said a semi-truck trailer struck a stopped bus Friday morning at Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and Northeast Airport Road in Roseburg.
ROSEBURG, Ore. — Several U-Trans passengers were taken to Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries after a semi-truck trailer struck a bus Friday morning in Roseburg, according to police.
Officers responded at 11:23 a.m. March 20 to a crash at the intersection of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and Northeast Airport Road.
According to Roseburg Police, Thomas Steven Tully, 24, of Roseburg, was attempting to make a right turn onto Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard from Northeast Airport Road in a 1997 Utility semi-truck when the trailer was unable to clear the turn and collided with a stopped U-Trans bus.
Police said several bus passengers were later transported to Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries.
Tully was cited for improper right turn and released.
