Roseburg Public Library will host two free Seth Howard magic shows on April 9, including an 11:30 a.m. performance for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities and caregivers, and a 6:30 p.m. family-friendly show open to the public.
Roseburg Public Library will welcome magician Seth Howard for two free performances on Thursday, April 9, offering one program focused on adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities and another family-friendly evening show open to the public.
The events will be held at the library, 1409 N.E. Diamond Lake Blvd.
The first performance is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and is designed for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Caregivers are also invited to attend. That event is being supported through Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, a grant initiative from the American Library Association in collaboration with the Association for Rural and Small Libraries.
A second performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be open to the public as a family-friendly magic show. That program is being made possible by the Friends of the Roseburg Public Library.
Howard, owner of The Magic Shop & More in Astoria, has spent 20 years entertaining audiences across the Pacific Northwest. His performances feature magic and mind-reading.
