Roseburg Public Library Brings Back In-N-Out Reading Program For Local Kids
Roseburg Public Library is bringing back its In-N-Out Burger reading program for a third year, giving kids ages 4 to 12 a chance to earn up to three free burgers by reading books or tracking reading time through April 18.
Roseburg Public Library is once again teaming up with In-N-Out Burger to encourage young readers with a tasty reward.
Now in its third year, the reading program invites local children ages 4 to 12 to track their reading through Saturday, April 18. Participants can earn free burger gift cards by meeting reading goals.
Children may follow their progress by logging either the number of books they read or the amount of time spent reading. Time can include books read on their own or by a parent or caregiver. After completing five books or 300 minutes, participants qualify for a gift card for a free hamburger or cheeseburger from In-N-Out.
Readers can earn as many as three burgers during the program.
Reading logs are available online through the Roseburg Public Library website and can also be picked up at the library front desk. School groups interested in participating can contact the library by email to coordinate with staff through a designated adult.
A library card is not needed to take part.
As children reach each reading milestone, they can visit the front desk to receive their gift cards. Library staff and volunteers will also keep track of participation and total reading progress throughout the program.
Library Director Kris Wiley encouraged families to enjoy the program with a simple message: Happy reading and eating.
