Roseburg Police to Host Coffee With a Cop Oct. 7
Roseburg Police will host Coffee with a Cop from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at My Coffee. Residents can meet officers, ask questions, share concerns, or stop by to say hello in an informal setting.
Roseburg residents can meet local police officers and talk over coffee Wednesday, Oct. 7, when the Roseburg Police Department hosts Coffee with a Cop at My Coffee.
The event runs from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at 1700 NW Garden Valley Blvd. Residents are invited to stop by, ask questions, share concerns, or simply say hello.
Coffee with a Cop gives community members a chance to speak with officers in an informal setting, without speeches or a set agenda. Conversations can range from neighborhood concerns to getting to know the people who serve the community.
In its announcement, the department said Chief Klopfenstein has his mug ready and encouraged residents to join them. The gathering is intended to help build relationships and strengthen trust between local law enforcement and the community.
