Roseburg ODHS To Host Community Resource Event April 2
Roseburg ODHS will host its monthly First Thursday community resource event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 2 at 738 W. Harvard Ave. in Roseburg, bringing together 27 agencies and services including housing help, food boxes, clothing, showers, a mobile medical clinic and a free meal.
The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) in Roseburg will host its monthly “First Thursday” community resource event on Thursday, April 2, offering access to dozens of local agencies and support services for those in need.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Roseburg ODHS lobby spaces, 738 W. Harvard Ave.
According to event information, 27 community agencies are expected to be on site, providing connections to a variety of services and programs, including:
- Housing and homelessness services
- Employment and training programs
- Children and family services
- Health and wellness resources
- Veteran’s programs
- Senior and disability services
Additional services scheduled during the event include:
- Food boxes
- Clothing
- Mobile medical clinic
- Showers from 10 a.m. to noon
- Free community meal
The event is open to anyone in need and is held on the first Thursday of each month as a way to connect community members with support in one location.
ODHS is hosting the event with support from The Ford Family Foundation.
