Details: Police said Martinez reported on Sept. 2 that she was involved in a hit-and-run crash in the Walmart parking lot. Officers later obtained footage that they said showed Martinez had struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle. According to police, Martinez changed her account multiple times and did not give officers a truthful account of the crash.

Details: Officers responded to a non-injury crash at the intersection. Police said Gillespie was traveling east on NW Stewart Parkway and turned left onto NW Airport Road in front of Salamon, who was traveling west. A witness said Salamon had a green light and the right of way. Gillespie was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device and drove her vehicle from the scene after arranging her own tow. Salamon did not specify a towing preference, and Bill’s Towing later took possession of her vehicle.

Jonathan David Rios, 40, arrested following reported return to residence

Details: Officers responded to a report that Rios had returned to a residence after previously being arrested for stalking. Police said they contacted Rios at his residence on Berdine Street, where he admitted to waiting outside the other person’s home for several minutes until the person came outside.

Ricky Madison May, 61, arrested on public indecency and other charges

Details: Officers responded to a report that May had masturbated and ejaculated on a neighbor’s door. Police said May admitted to exposing himself to the neighbor and ejaculating on the door. His probation officer also requested that he be detained after the reported new offense.

Steven Timothy Gant, 39, arrested in connection with earlier Walmart theft

Details: Officers contacted Gant near Eagles Park because he was a suspect in a theft reported at Walmart on Sept. 14. Police said Gant admitted to the theft and was taken into custody without incident.
