Details: Officers responded to a vehicle-versus-bicycle crash near Farmers Co-op. Police said Butler was leaving the parking lot when an electric bicycle operated by Gordon struck the passenger side of her vehicle. According to police, Gordon was riding south in the northbound bicycle lane and last remembered looking down before the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center with a broken leg and facial lacerations. Butler’s vehicle was undamaged and driven from the scene. Gordon’s bicycle sustained scratches to the handlebars and headlight, and its rear light was broken. The bicycle was released to his stepmother. Gordon was later cited.
