Details: Officers contacted Miller in a field on private property just south of 200 SE Pine St. following a report that he needed to be trespassed from the property. Police said officers knew of an unworked Roseburg Police Department warrant, and dispatch advised them of an active Douglas County Circuit Court warrant. When told he was under arrest, Miller allegedly pulled his arms away while walking forward. Officers pulled him to the ground, where police said he continued trying to move his arms and legs to get away. He was eventually handcuffed and placed in a patrol vehicle. Officers later found a small zip-close bag of suspected methamphetamine in his possession. Dispatch confirmed the warrant, and his parole officer directed officers to lodge him on a parole violation. He was transported to Douglas County Corrections.

Details: Police said Johnson turned from W Harvard Avenue onto W Maple Street and struck an 11-year-old boy riding a bicycle on the sidewalk. The log states that the boy was wearing dark clothing and the bicycle did not have a light. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center, then flown to Portland for a head injury. His guardian was notified. The collision remains under investigation.

Details: Police said Hartwig and Chester were driving east on NW Stewart Parkway when Hartwig swerved in front of Chester and slammed on his brakes. Chester struck the rear of Hartwig's vehicle. Multiple witnesses reported that Hartwig was driving carelessly and caused the crash. Hartwig was cited for careless driving.
