Roseburg police reported several incidents from Wednesday into early Thursday, including warrant arrests, obstruction, a parole violation, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, drug possession and DUII.
Warrant Arrest
Timothy Kirk Mesiter, 53, was cited after police said officers contacted him at Mercy Medical Center

Details: Officers contacted Mesiter at Mercy Medical Center knowing he had the listed cite-and-release warrant. Police said the warrant was confirmed, and Mesiter was cited and released without incident.

Obstruction
Hannah Ruth Hulska, 32, was lodged after police said she returned to a posted camp cleanup area and resisted arrest

Details: Police said Hulska was contacted at her camp, which had been posted on May 21 for cleanup on May 27 at 7 a.m. Hulska attempted to remove items from the camp, was physically removed from her tent and was instructed not to return. Police said she returned a short time later and retrieved more items from the camp. Officers again told her not to take the items and to leave the area. Police said Hulska refused and was told she was under arrest. Hulska resisted and was eventually taken into custody after a brief struggle. Police said she was later found with a small axe and a large bowie knife, which are prohibited in city parks.
Disposition: Hulska was lodged at Douglas County Corrections.
Parole Violation
Kenneth James Ranck Calderon, 40, was lodged after police said he ran from officers during an arrest

Details: Officers contacted Ranck Calderon for failing to report to his probation officer. Police said Ranck Calderon was told he was under arrest and ran away from officers. About 20 yards away, in the northbound lane of Stewart Parkway, police said Ranck Calderon struggled with officers before being taken to the ground and detained. He was arrested on the parole violation and later cited for Escape III, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct II.
Disposition: Ranck Calderon was lodged at Douglas County Corrections.
Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
Summit Francis Conn, 36, was lodged after police said a stolen vehicle crashed into a fence near Sunshine Park

Details: Officers responded to a non-injury crash where a vehicle left Highway 138 East and crashed into the fence at Sunshine Park. Police said the driver fled after the crash. Officers located Conn about two blocks away, and police said he admitted to being the driver. Police said Conn was visibly intoxicated, admitted to drinking before the crash and admitted to taking the vehicle from an elderly male at the Roseburg Rescue Mission without permission. Conn performed part of the standardized field sobriety tests, including HGN, but refused all other tests. Police said he performed poorly on HGN. Officers contacted Stanford, the registered owner of the vehicle, who had been transported to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance for unrelated health issues. Police said it was believed the vehicle was taken around that time. Conn was arrested on several charges and issued additional citations. Police said Conn was unable to provide a breath sample at Corrections but agreed to provide a urine sample. The vehicle was towed by Bill's Towing.
Disposition: Conn was lodged at Corrections.
Warrant Arrest
Patrick Taylor Todd, 30, was lodged after police said officers contacted him in a vehicle at WinCo

Details: While checking the WinCo parking lot, officers observed Todd in the passenger seat of a vehicle and believed he had a warrant for his arrest. Police said officers located a warrant through LEDS and detained Todd. Police said Todd was in possession of about 2.7 grams of methamphetamine and a usable amount of fentanyl. The warrant was confirmed, and Todd was taken into custody.
Disposition: Todd was lodged at Corrections on the warrant and methamphetamine charge and cited for the fentanyl charge.
DUII
Rosalie Ann Alderman, 59, was cited after police said officers responded to an injury crash near NW Van Pelt Drive

Details: Officers responded to the listed location for a reported injury crash. During the investigation, police said Alderman displayed signs of impairment. She consented to standardized field sobriety tests and performed poorly. Alderman was transported to Mercy Medical Center for complaints of back pain. Police said Alderman consented to a blood draw and was cited and released from Mercy.
Disposition: Alderman was cited and released.
