Details: Officers responded to the address after Brodsky's mother reported Brodsky was behaving strangely and having some sort of mental health issue inside the residence. While en route, officers learned Brodsky had the listed warrant for her arrest. Officers contacted Brodsky, confirmed the warrant and took her into custody without incident.
Disposition: Brodsky was transported to Douglas County Corrections, where she was lodged.

James Peter Denard, 70, was cited after police said officers contacted him in a tent at the Duck Pond nature area

Details: Police said Denard was contacted in his tent, which was set up deep in the wooded area of the Duck Pond nature area. Police said camping is never allowed at the location because it is a nature-sensitive area.

Dispatch confirmed both Boots and Blessent had multiple warrants. Police said Artherholt's parole officer authorized a detainer because he was intoxicated and failed to report as required.

Details: Officers were dispatched to a report of people fighting, honking a car horn and yelling "Help me" at Sunshine Park on 5/4/2026 at 0545 hours. When officers arrived, no one was there. A short time later, Mercy Medical Center contacted dispatch and Gordon arrived covered in blood, claiming he was assaulted at Sunshine Park. Police said Gordon was unable to speak at the hospital but wrote the names "Cutty and Biscuit" on a piece of paper as the aggressors. Police said Cutty and Biscuit were later identified as Blessent and Boots. Gordon advised he was pistol whipped, shot with BBs and strangled with a seatbelt while trying to stop Blessent and Boots. On 5/12/2026, officers developed probable cause to arrest Blessent and Boots. On 5/13/2026, officers arrested Blessent and Boots at 200 SE Pine Street, The Point, without incident.
Disposition: Blessent and Boots were lodged at Douglas County Corrections.
Disorderly Conduct

Maria Del Carmen Juarez Ceballos, 34, was lodged after police said officers contacted her placing traffic cones in the roadway

Details: Officers contacted Juarez in the middle of the road at the intersection of SE Pine Street and SE Washington Avenue. Police said she was placing large barrel-type traffic cones in the roadway, causing several vehicles to swerve and maneuver to avoid the cones while driving by. Officers arrested Juarez for disorderly conduct in the second degree and transported her to the Douglas County Jail.
Disposition: Juarez was lodged at the Douglas County Jail.

Alexander Stephen Womble, 28, was lodged after police said officers investigated a theft report at SureStay Hotel

Details: Officers responded to a report of a theft at the listed address. During the investigation, police said officers contacted Womble and learned he had been previously trespassed after his employment at the business was terminated for a previous theft. Police said Womble admitted to going to the business and stealing quarters from a laundry machine totaling $70.75. Womble was taken into custody without incident and transported to Douglas County Corrections, where he was lodged for the listed crimes. During the booking process, police said Womble was found in possession of about 0.5 grams of methamphetamine. The drugs were seized for destruction and Womble was cited accordingly.
Disposition: Womble was lodged at Douglas County Corrections.

Tyler Lee Koontz Reed, 40, was lodged after police said officers contacted him knowing he had a warrant
