Theft
Amy Rene Dykes, 49, was additionally charged after officers reported recovering a Walmart shopping cart after her probation officer detained her

Details: An officer saw Dykes pushing a Walmart shopping cart in the downtown area but was unable to stop her at that time and could not locate her afterward. Dykes’ probation officer later detained her when she checked in at the probation office and contacted police, saying Dykes had parked the shopping cart outside the courthouse with her possessions in it.
Disposition: The officer recovered the shopping cart and disposed of Dykes’ possessions because they were soaked in urine. The cart was placed at the parks department storage area with other Walmart carts awaiting pickup. Dykes remained lodged at the jail and was additionally charged with Theft II.

Crista Jean Davis, 40, was lodged after officers reported confirming a valid warrant for her arrest

Nicholas Daniel Artherholt, 31, was lodged after officers reported finding a felony warrant and prohibited weapons while contacting him in Gaddis Park

Details: Officers contacted Artherholt in Gaddis Park and found he had a felony warrant for probation violation out of Douglas County Community Corrections. Officers also found him in possession of a machete and a throwing star in violation of city ordinance. The warrant was confirmed and he was taken into custody.
Disposition: Artherholt was lodged at Corrections and cited for the ordinance violation.
Trespass
Laura Chavez-Bazan, 30, and Dylan Orion Wood, 23, were cited after officers reported contacting them walking on railroad tracks past multiple No Trespassing signs

Details: Officers contacted Wood and Chavez-Bazan for walking on the railroad tracks. Both said they did not know it was a crime to walk on the tracks, despite passing multiple No Trespassing signs.

Officers contacted his parole officer, who issued a detainer. Hatton was taken into custody and transported to Douglas County Corrections.

Sarah Faith Raines, 40, was lodged after officers reported she refused repeated orders to leave Oak Market

Details: Officers responded to Oak Market for a report of a female acting erratically and refusing to leave. When officers arrived, they told Raines she was trespassing and directed her to leave multiple times. She refused and was taken into custody.

Tyler Lee Koontz Reed, 40, was lodged after officers reported he was harassing customers, appeared under the influence and was detained at his probation officer’s request

Details: Officers responded to the Fox Den on Garden Valley after an employee reported Reed was looking into cars and harassing customers. Officers contacted him nearby, where he showed signs of being under the influence of controlled substances and admitted using drugs. His probation officer requested he be detained.
