Details: Officers responded to a vehicle crash near the intersection of NW Stewart Parkway / NW Aviation. The suspect, Schwartz, fled the scene of the crash after trying to drive away but his vehicle broke down due to the severity of the damage. He fled on foot but was found by a DCSO Deputy behind Walmart. He admitted to driving but claimed he did not remember hitting a vehicle. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center where he was medically cleared. Schwartz's passenger, Edwards, told officers Schwartz was driving at a high rate of speed and was driving erratically before the crash. No one was injured but both vehicles were towed from the scene by Bill's towing.
