Prohibited Camping Criminal/Resisting
Coco Lorenzo Bernhardt, 36, was lodged after officers reported finding him under a City Hall balcony in a restricted area and said he resisted arrest when told he was under arrest for criminal prohibited camping

Details: Bernhardt was found sitting under a balcony on the westside of City Hall with a blanket over him. The area where Bernhardt was found is a restricted area in accordance with the city's camping ordinance. Bernhardt had three previous convictions for prohibited camping and has been told before he is not allowed to stay under the balcony at City Hall. When Bernhardt was told he was under arrest for prohibited camping criminal, he resisted officers by stiffening up his arms and pulling away from officers while trying to place him into handcuffs. Bernhardt was taken to the ground to gain better control where he continued to resist. Bernhardt was eventually placed into handcuffs.
Disposition: Bernhardt was taken to corrections and lodged for Prohibited Camping (Criminal) and Resisting Arrest.
Harassment
Lonnie Clay Purdom, 50, was lodged after officers reported he struck Heather Marie Strong during a disturbance at Gaddis Park and was found with a large machete in the park

Details: Purdom and Strong were involved in a physical disturbance as Strong was seated in the driver's seat and Purdom stood outside the driver's door. While Purdom was trying to get his phone from inside the vehicle, he struck Strong under her eye, causing pain and swelling. Purdom was also in possession of a large machete, which is prohibited in the park.
Disposition: Purdom was charged with Disorderly Conduct II, Harassment and Prohibited Weapons and Tools on City Real Property. Purdom was lodged at Douglas County Corrections, and his dog was taken to Saving Grace.
Trespass
Blake Edward Cadger, 34, was lodged after officers reported he refused to leave Abby's Pizza despite previously being trespassed from the property

Details: Cadger refused to leave Abby's Pizza after being asked to vacate the property. Cadger was an ongoing issue and had been trespassed from the property previously. His parole officer wanted him detained for the new crime.
Disposition: Lodged at Corrections.
Warrant
Cheri Marie King, 51, was lodged after officers reported stopping a vehicle for a violation and learning she had a valid Douglas County warrant

Details: Officers stopped a vehicle for a violation and the driver returned with a valid warrant for her arrest. The warrant was confirmed and she was taken into custody.

Tyler Lee Koontz-Reed, 40, was lodged after officers reported contacting him while knowing he had a confirmed Roseburg police warrant

Details: Officers contacted Koontz-Reed and knew he had the warrant which was already confirmed. Koontz-Reed was taken into custody without incident.

City Ordinance Violation
Crystal Elizabeth Abel, 41, was cited after officers reported finding her camped outside the designated camping area at the Duck Pond

Details: Officers contacted Abel inside of a camp at the Duck Pond. The camp was outside of the designated camping area and she was cited accordingly.
